VISION; THE POWERFUL TOOL.

Vision… the future unveiled
“Where there is no vision the people perish”
… Proverbs 29:18

Vision is a desired future that an individual, group of persons or an organization would like to achieve. It acts like a beacon guiding and leading always in the right direction, even through the darkest of times when ideas dry up. Vision is the ability to see and communicate or show a future that is better than the present and chart a path into it. Vision is one of the greatest requirements for leadership. “When I think of vision, I have in mind the ability to see above and beyond the majority.” Charles R. Swindoll.

“It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.”   Helen Keller

Why visions?
“Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so you shall become. Your vision is the
promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.”
Vision is required for every area of life because it gives clarity of purpose and joy since, progress can be measured. Progress can never occur without vision neither can success be achieved.  In times of crisis and trouble, Vision acts as a life line giving hope to carry on and courage to face challenges.

Many lives, companies, countries and institution have been destroyed by lack of vision and many more have been saved from the brinks of destruction by leaders with visions.

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.” Joel A. Barker
How do I create vision?

“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” Jack Welch

Vision and Mission Statements are used by organizations and corporate bodies to clearly and concisely show there direction. Vision should and must be created for every area of life such as: academics, finance, health, Marriage, spiritual, relationship, career, business etc. this will give us something to work toward.
