PROLOGUE
The shrieking sound of Raphael's phone woke him up from his sleep.
"urhhhh",he groaned.
He was exhausted because of the events of the previous day. His fantasies about kissing his drop dead gorgeous best friend became a thing of reality. His best friend is now his girlfriend.
He sighs as he picks up his phone.
"Hello",he said in his deep voice
"Raphael Pauwels?" the unknown caller asked
" yeah that's me, how can I help you? "Raphael answered
"I think your girlfriend needs your help "the unknown caller chuckles
This woke Raphael up finally, he sits up on his bed trying to be calm.
"who are you?",he asked in fear The beeping tone that signifies the end of the call rang in his ears. He could hear his heart beating really fast as he jumped out of the bed,grabbed his jacket and ran out of the house.He started dialing Cleo's number once he hit the road but she wasn't answering.
He kept replaying the anonymous caller's words in his mind as he prays for the safety of his new girlfriend.He got to her house in less than twenty minutes and he could feel something was wrong as he sights her house.
"something is not right",he thought as he opens the door.
"It's not locked?? " he panicks
He ran straight to her room to see if she's alright but it was locked.
"Cleo, are u there?? "
No answer,his voice echoed back at him.
"Cleo!!!!!! ,he screamed
There was still no answer
He went in search of something to break the lock and he found an hammer in the the kitchen.He used it to break the lock and rushed inside the room. He stopped in his tracks when he sights his girlfriend. He became both deaf and dumb,he felt his heart stop for a while. He could not feel anything ,she was safe.He became relieved.
His girlfriend was right there on the bed sleeping so peacefully,her gold hair sprawled on the pillow.She was looking so cute as she breathes lightly. He sighs in relief as he moved towards her and then the unexpected happened.
The lights went out.
