In life the truly great achievements
and progress have been made by men whom the world had deemed crazy, mad at one
point or the other. These people, were not the most intelligent or influential
of their time, but had the courage, boldness and strength to be unique and have
there inner madness show forth.
“There was never a genius without a
tincture of madness.” …Aristotle
Madness is the ability to stand, on
ones ideals holding on tight with boldness and conviction refusing to conform.
It is the ability to seek for answers where no one else dares, the boldness to
seek the unseekable, question the unquestionable, answer the unanswerable, and
do the undoable. It is the desire and ability to follow your dreams, goals and
visions when no one else believes. Madness separates intelligence from genius.
The intelligent man conforms while the genius takes the risk.
“I am interested in madness I
believe it is the biggest thing in the human race and the most constant. How do
you take away from a man his madness without taking away his identity?”
Madmen are change agents, causing
revolutions by their ideas and thoughts; they see no limitations or fear.
Madmen are creative and unique they see what others cannot see, bold enough to
talk about what others do not and cannot understand, crazy enough to act on it
and produce results. Madmen are revolutionaries, undertaking major risks and
challenges that most consider an insane adventure, they are oblivious to fear
and the voices of discouragement. Madmen creates there own world and bring it
to reality in the face of strong oppositions, people like, Bills Gates, Martin
Luther King Jnr., Thomas Edison Barak
Obama, Ken Saro Wiwa, Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, William and Wilberforce
Wright were considered MAD.
“Truly great madness cannot be
achieved without intelligence”… Henrikk Tikkanen
Devotion to building and developing
the intellect is very essential if greatness must be achieved. For one to truly
change his country, economic or social situation one must become a MADMAN. The
intellectual capacity of the mind must be built in order to make coherent and
accurate use of information and resources that will be accessed. The madman
must be ready to study hard and develop the mind, having a well balanced thirst
for knowledge or else you become a ranting Fool.
“You are only given a little spark of
madness you must not lose It.” …Robin
Williams
